Chapels have been an integrel part of my life since childhood, these magnifisant buildings represent Welsh culture at its best demonstrating how they knitted and divided a community.Over recent years they have slowly disappeared either converted or more seriously demolished, I felt a desire and need to record the chapels before it was too late.

My latest work ‘The Migration’ gave me the opportunity to research Welsh chapels further afield, in London, Birmingham, Liverpool and across the Atlantic in America especially Pensylvania, New York State and Vermont.The variety of buildings never cease to amaze me and I am still discovering and recording today.
