Fabrics
Stylised floral designs, shapes and forms form the bases of the new fabric collection, based on indigenous crafts and skills. From the slate carvings of the quarrymen of the Ogwen Valley and the quilting traditions of the rural communities of Cardigan which so inspired the Amish in Pennsylvania, to the tradition of the iconic Welsh tapestry woven rugs/blankets with its strong contrasting geometric paterns.
The new collection of fabrics and textile products captures the essence of these traditions for contemporary use in interiors. The fabrics are of various weights woven in wool, cotton and linen, suitable for curtains, upholstery, blinds and accessories. All my fabrics in the collection are bespoke woven and many are available by the metre from the studio shop. If you have any colour, weight or design in mind, we would be happy to work and help with any specific ideas or concept as I am able to design and colour a fabric specifically for your requirements.
